Review a course together
Invite feedback while preserving the author’s edit permissions.
Invite a reviewer to read your course and discuss specific content. Review access lets them give feedback while you keep control of course edits.
Invite a reviewer
Section titled “Invite a reviewer”- As the course owner, open Share.
- Enter the reviewer’s email and choose Invite.
- Ask the reviewer to sign in with that account and open the course from Shared for review.
The reviewer must already have an NXGen account matching that email. If no account uses that email, you’ll see a message that accounts are by invitation; the reviewer needs to join NXGen Learning Studio before you can share with them. Reviewers can view the course and leave comments on any element, but they can’t edit content. Review access doesn’t grant editing rights or ownership and doesn’t publish the course for learners.
You can remove a reviewer from the same Share dialog.
Comment on content
Section titled “Comment on content”Use comment pins or the Comments panel to start a thread on an element. Explain the learning decision behind your feedback. For example: “This page explains the complaint policy, but the objective asks learners to choose a response. Could we add a situation where they have to make that choice?”
Reply to continue the discussion. Resolve a thread when the issue is addressed, or reopen it if more work remains. Mentions provide context within comments; they don’t establish that an external notification was delivered.
Authors can jump from a comment to its element. If that element has been removed, the comment shows an Element removed label instead of a jump link.
Visibility
Section titled “Visibility”Comment pins are an editor preference. Hiding them doesn’t delete feedback or change course content.
